Cross Town Traffic
A (Not So) Funny Thing Happened On My Way To George's
Traffic Near Perimeter Mall. Fucking. Sucked!!!! The thought of spending sixty to ninety minutes getting aggravated behind the wheel of my car seemed obsurd. The solution? Turn the car around and go to Target and Taco Mac to wait out the traffic. Oh sure I could have changed into my running clothes and gone for a run up near work (which is what I should have done) but making three more advances toward my passport seemed like more fun.
Barking Up The Wrong Tree
Seems to be a constant theme recently. I'm just saying. I hope that it changes real soon. I'm just saying.
And You Thought I Was Joking, Part I
"Why don't you register 'eatlga.com'?" It was a drunken suggestion to me at the last APWBWGTTD when Brian (aka Bobafred) gave me a name tag with "EATL" written on it.
Yesterday I decided to test the GoDaddy waters by registering www.eatlga.com for the next three years. GoDaddy's registration fee is cheap and a little googling will reap a slew of discount codes.
Secretly I am also testing GoDaddy's service for future endeavors.
And You Thought I Was Joking, Part II
With any luck I'll be starting to get my shit together for a Word Press conversion this weekend. All the cool kids are doing it and I'm nothing if not envious of the cool kids.
Speaking Of The Cool Kids
The newest cool kid on the block (holy shit, she converted to Word Press yesterday and her site looks fucking awesome!) posted a link to what could be a fantastic new service called LaLa. LaLa is a cd trading service on which you post the cds you are willing to part with and list the ones you are seeking. Users will mail cds to one another for a $1 fee (and believe it or not $0.20 of that dollar goes to the artist). Sounds pretty cool to me.
Unfortunately the site is currently in private beta, but if I can figure out how to do an invite I'll post here.
And now for some ideas stolen from LiveJournal...
Current Mood - frustrated
Current Music - Sirius Satellite Radio, Channel 26 playing Gomez -- "How We Operate"
Website Of The Day - Yet another music-related site, Music Strands. Seriously, I never get tired about finding new music / music recommendation services.
If you ever want a quick glance of the sites I've picked for my Websites Of The Day, you can check them out on del.icio.us, my user name is InsideThePerimeter (go figure), and they are all tagged as "blogged."
Exercise (b)Log - nothing, thwarted by traffic and lack of gumption
Cheers!
