Erin Go Braless!!!

With the fear that I'll be hit upside the head with a shillelagh (thanks Dictionary.com for the proper spelling) by Maigh, I wish you all a Happy St. Patty's Day. I'm half-Irish therefore I can mangle the name of today's holiday if I wish.

Broke Black (Rock) Mountain
This weekend I'll be heading up to the wild land known as Black Rock Mountain State Park for a camping weekend. It's camping the way I like to camp, I will never be more than 500 yards away from my car. When I "get away from it all" I really don't want to get away from it all. Now before you go and call me a pussy, check out the weekend weather forecast for the mountain

brrrr

Have You Heard About The Lonesome Loser?
Once again I have gone to an Atlanta venue to cheer on one of my favorite New York sports teams only to tast defeat. Last night I met up with a handful of hashers to see the Islanders play the Thrashers. While it was an entertaining game, I left the building dejected.

Not to sound too much like Clark Howard, but here is a great tip for getting drunk on the cheap. Gorin's in CNN Center my friends, Gorin's. Get there early and load up on $6 32-ounce bevvies and you probably won't give two shits who wins the game.

Beer: consoling losers for centuries.

Come Play In My Playground
Awhile back I picked the site Wayfaring as my Web Pick Of The Day. The other day I was playing around with the site and came up with this.

Pretty cool, eh? I'm not done with it yet, it's a work in progress...

And now for some ideas stolen from LiveJournal...
Current Mood - fair; I'm not going to work but I have stuff to gather for this weekend
Current Music - Something be The Selmanaires on Album 88
Website Of The Day - Here's another web video player, a la YouTube, it's called Veoh. Another one? Oy vey!

If you ever want a quick glance of the sites I've picked for my Websites Of The Day, you can check them out on del.icio.us, my user name is InsideThePerimeter (go figure), and they are all tagged as "blogged."

Exercise (b)Log - running, 6 miles (the Emory course)

Cheers!
